Patricia Almeida, together with André Cepeda and Filipa César, was selected for the 6th edition of BES Photo, the most prestigious Photography Prize in Portugal. This selection originates from the exhibitions of the project “Portobello” presented at the Gallery Zé Dos Bois (ZDB) in Lisbon and in the framework of the collective show “Strange Way of Life” currently shown at the Art Allgarve 2009. The selected artists will be exhibited at the Berardo Collection Museum in Lisbon, in February 2010, with new projects.

Exhibitions of PORTOBELLO and NO PARKING at the Museu da Imagem in Braga, Portugal, from 8th of November till 31st of December. These exhibitions will present excerpts of the serie NO PARKING for the first time.

Exhibition of TESTEMUNHOS - TRAJECTOS DE FORMAÇÃO at the Centro de Congressos da Alfândega in Oporto, Portugal, from 9th of October till 30th of November. This exhibition is commissionned by the Portuguese Social Security.

Exhibition PORTOBELLO at the Galeria Zé dos Bois in Lisbon, Portugal, from 11th of September till 22nd of November 2008. This exhibition will present the complete serie (around 80 photographs) and also a slide show and video projections.
